Salzburg was fantastic - the walking tour that is included was helpful. Try to go to Europe’s oldest restaurant if you can - they will be able to serve you quickly if you let them know ahead of time that you are in…”

“Skip Salzburg, it was a disappointment. It is unclean and the buildings are not as well kept as Vienna. The Monastery in Melk was okay, however take the path into the little village which is way more interesting and you can view the monastery from the outside. Spend more time in Hallstatt, it is stunning, one of the most beautiful spots on earth. More time there would have allowed us to do more in this most beautiful area. Our driver was great, prompt, safe and courteous. Skip Salzburg, a waste of time,”

“The driver did an excellent job taking us to the various sites, but he spoke almost no English. It was unsettling to not know where we were going, and it was very hard to communicate. That would have been ok, but we booked an English language tour. We were disappointed that the driver couldn’t communicate with us and explain basics about the sites. Given the price of the tour and the clear description, we were disappointed. We went to learn and spent a lot of time trying to find food, bathrooms and had trouble connecting with the driver. While it’s possible there was just an oversight, this was not ok.”
